…aka I missed going outside the post. Seriously, I miss going to a cosplay convention or going to Greenhills every Saturday once I get out of work but here we are, trapped inside our own houses, being careful as not to catch the big ol’ COVID-19 virus.
Anyhow, here’s what’s going to happen this week.
The Road To FanFes 2020 Draws Near
First off, I’m anticipating for this event because this will be the first time Cosplay Mania or FanFes will be held online. Sure, this isn’t the first time that a cosplay organization handled a convention online as KurotsukiCon did it first but I wanted to see how will Filipino weeaboos handle this online convention of sorts.
So far, basing on what I can see here, they’ll be doing the interactive activities via Zoom while the whole event will be broadcast on YouTube. If you want to join the interactive festivities, you’re out of luck as the competition has already ended.
The event itself will start at 8:00 PM PST but the Discord exhibit hall will be open from July 31 to August 2 from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM PST. so the event might be over but you can still talk to your friends and other weeaboos in this event and knowing the Philippine weeaboo/cosplay community, there will be a lot of “scrambolan” going on.
I just checked my entry to win the Zoom tickets and alas, I won’t be able to archive anything from the Zoom stuff but since there will be a live simulcast on YouTube, there might be no need for archiving since old livestreams get to be saved on YouTube unless the user deliberately deletes it.

A (Not So) Subtle Way Of Saying I’m Running Out Of Ideas
Okay, I’ll come clean. I am running out of things to write. Probably because I don’t have the patience to write more reviews or draw comics or do more digging into stuff here plus working at home can drain the hell out of me to the point that waking up is just as boring as doing nothing on a Saturday afternoon.
That doesn’t mean that I will drop the HalloHallo show reviews (IDOLS@SCHOOL and the Hallo Hallo Cafe reviews) but I don’t have any archived material to post here (since most of my “writings” have been nuked to orbit, thanks Zuckerberg) so there’s that.
If I get my game on, I might have to do more stuff regarding anime, manga, puroresu, or even cosplay dramatics.
