The 99th post was supposed to be a review of the 2003 movie, Battle Royale II: Requiem because it is a Christmas movie in the vein of Die Hard and Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz but that didn’t happen because of two things:
- Your boy decided to sleep in on the holidays and play Pokemon instead of checking if his copy of BR2 has subtitles.
- My copy of Battle Royale 2 has no subtitles.
So anyway, here’s what to expect from this site this 2022.
- Obscure anime stuff – From lost dubs to bootleg anime merchandise, we will be digging deep into the world of anime that most anime fans don’t know about.
- More YouTuber Spotlight stuff – Coming off from the first four episodes of Spotlight, I am really starting to love writing about YouTubers and at least give them the recognition they deserve with contributing to YouTube’s ever continuing evolution.
- A new series: Beyond The Most Popular Song series – This came up to mind when I was listening to Pizzicato Five and BONNIE PINK and it made me think, why don’t people know these songs outside from the ones they are being associated with? So with that said, I want to show people that there’s more to P5 than Sweet Soul Revue.
- More HalloHallo Cafe/MNL48 iSchool reviews – These reviews got postponed due to me focusing my attention to YouTuber Spotlight and to be honest, these posts are great filler content to begin with. Also, I miss laughing at Yachang, Angel, and oshi Anne.
That would be all for now but I might be doing some more comics in between and with COVID-19 restrictions being relaxed here, I might do some more field reports.
