Where The Hell Was I In March? Plus Site News

For those who read my blog, if there were any, you might be wondering why I only posted two articles back in March. The answer to that is simple: I was traveling a lot during that month and with that said, I was away from my trusty old Samsung laptop that I use to write my posts with.

For the first week of March, I went to my mother’s birthplace in Batangas to do some RNR. That’s basically it but the second week ok March was the highlight of the month. Enter, Baguio City.

I’ll be quite honest here, this is the first time that I’ve been to Baguio ever and I can see why it garnered its top spot as one of the top tourist destinations in the Philippines.

The scenery, the wilderness, McKinley Park, the lion statue, Camp John Hay, everything in Baguio is a sight to see, and believe you me, the cold atmosphere adds to the awesomeness of this place.

If you want a nice vacation spot or you’re planning to visit the Philippines, then Baguio City is one of the places that should be on your bucket list.

The week after that, was the Otasuke AniSong Festival. I already wrote a piece about this but here are some unreleased photos that I took from that day.

Then I took a rest from all of this traveling…until the next month with PPOP Convention 2022.

With that out of the way, let me announce what’s to come this month and in the succeeding ones.

Cosplay Carnival 2022 – The first major in-person weeb-related event is upon us and with that said, I can’t wait to see how will this turn out.

I will be posting videos of this event on my YouTube channel as well as some pictures on this site.

Of course, I will write a piece about it here. Speaking of YouTube…

The YouTube Channel – Yes, the website now has a YouTube channel. For now, it only contains performances from the Otasuke Anisong Festival but I am planning to add more types of content in this one ranging from video conversions of one of the old articles to YouTube exclusive content like video game reviews. Live footage will still be on this channel so be sure to check it out.

More retrospectives and reviews – I don’t know if I have mentioned this in the last site news post but I am planning to cover more ground and expand the variety of the content on this site. We will be digging into a lot of things from artists and their whole discography to more YouTuber trends to more event reviews.

Questor scans – Once I get some free time, I’ll be continuing to scan and upload copies of Questor anime magazine.

I still have three more issues to scan and with the upcoming Cosplay Carnival, I will be starting to work on these again in the first week of May.

You can download the already uploaded scans at the Scans section of the site.

I guess that would be all for now. See you on the next post or on Cosplay Carnival.
