Japan Fiesta 2023: A Reflection

Japan Fiesta 2023, for all intents and purposes, is a giant advertisement for Japanese tourism in the Philippines but that’s not the only function it serves.

It is also a celebration of Philippine-Japanese friendship that started after the Second World War and has been going strong ever since.

The event is mainly composed of two sections: a stage for performers and guests and a convention hall placed in the middle of Glorietta to promote Japanese tourism and the places you can go to in Japan.

This made me think of going to Japan as a tourist this year be one of the goals in my bucket list.

Most people in the Twittersphere would talk about MNL48 and R RULES because they’re the biggest attractions around but I really enjoyed the other parts of the program that I witnessed.

This is just going to be a short post as I will be working on the third episode of Late Night Reviews (and I am writing this as I rush going home). See you on the next post.
